This often leads to disappointment when the masses of Starlings do not come in a 'dance' through the skies but instead hug the tops of the reeds or bushes and go straight to roost.
This then leads to other questions, Why do they do this? Is it the Weather a factor?
We have actually witnessed quite a few 'murmurations' now and can say that these patterns in the sky do not really occur only when predators are there. It even happens when predators aren't there.
So we have decided to ask questions regarding the weather and starling murmurations.
Please use the Poll below to let us know what happens when you see Starling Murmurations this winter, letting us know WHEN you see the Starlings do their full on display and sky dancing.
Thank you, we look forward to your input. Please feel free to comment too.
